If you came here asking

I have done the therapy. I understand where it started. Why does it still run?

Therapy gave you language and understanding, and that work matters.

This work addresses something different: how the pattern operates now, day to day.

Coaching is not therapy. This site states what it is and what it is not, in plain language, before you apply.

A comment in a meeting, an ambiguous email, a decision that is questioned, and the system activates. The self-monitoring begins. The replay starts. As if none of the understanding happened.

Almost nobody in the wellbeing and coaching market addresses this directly, because it means saying something uncomfortable: understanding is not the same as removing. Insight does not reach the biology.

What therapy does and does not do

This is not a criticism of therapy. It gives you language for an experience that had none, and it separates you from the pattern by making it visible. But seeing a pattern and removing it are two processes at two levels of the nervous system. The pattern was installed before language, before conscious memory, before the reflection therapy works with.

What people who have done significant therapeutic work report privately:

“Insight didn’t fix the feeling. I understand the pattern. It runs anyway.”
“Therapy helped me see where it started. It didn’t make it stop.”
“I don’t need to understand it more. I need it to stop.”

When the environment changed, when the threat that justified that calibration was no longer present, the calibration did not automatically reset.

What addresses it

Managing a pattern means living with it more skilfully. Interrupting it means removing the mechanism that generates it.

“The internal critic went quiet. Not managed. Not reasoned with. Quiet. I didn’t know it could do that.”David O., COO, Healthcare, 39

Therapy shows you where it started. The Biography to Biology Method removes what started there. If you have done the insight work and the pattern is still running, that is the signal that the next step is biological, not cognitive.
